Hi, I just wanted to introduce myself. I live in NH in a very hilly rural area. I am planning to by a scooter for local use and am hoping to get advice on this forum. I don't expect to ever use it on the highways, just for short 5-10 mile rides into town for an errand and that type of thing. My family said I couldn't have a motorcycle because they're too dangerous, but they didn't say anything about scooters.

Anyway, I want to make sure it is capable of...

Hello.
A friend of mine has got a Lambretta TV175. Totally original but probably hasn't been on the road since 1969 (but dry stored). Really we want to be it running again, but have no idea where to start, but mechanically we're fairly compedent. I'm imagining the petrol tank is shot and the engine ceased - and thats without looking at the cluch, but at least it rolls and all the parts are there!

Any useful resources are most welcome. We want to be busy over the...

Hello, Been reading some of the posts around here. Trying to get a feel for this place. Crashed a 175 Kawasaki about 1976 and haven't been on a motorized two wheeler much since. My girlfriend is interested in getting scooters for work, fun, and amusement. Wasted a lovely day researching scooters on the internet. Looks like a Chinese scooter is a crap shoot with maybe a Kymco being an option. Kinda decided I might need a Big Honda or a Big Yamaha to haul my 239lb 6 foot plus frame....

Yep, new here. Just signed up. About me, I am in Texas, I ride a Vespa LX 150, my wife rides a Yamaha Vino 125. If things work out I am going to start rebuilding a '75 Vespa Super 150. Our scooters are daily riders. We are members of our local scooter club. We have a 9 year old girl, and she rides a Razor Bella. She has toped it out at 18mph. Hopefully in a couple of years she will be able to ride a 50cc.
