Hi all,
While sorting out the engine I am replacing the rear hub and brake shoes. I have a new UNI hub and have replaced the old Li brake cam with a GP type and brake
shoes. When putting the hub on it is extremely tight and the brake arm is not moving as it is rock solid. Also when putting the hub on, should the layshaft end
be flush with rear hub?

Any help would be great.

Hi, Stop laughing at my question!
I have just rebuilt an Li 125 engine, on a work bench using the Sticky Bible as a guide. The engine is complete and I am now waiting for the body work to come
back from the spray shop so I can continue my quest. Last weekend I set the timing using the drill method mentioned in Sticky's book. All is working well.

But - how do I test that I have rebuilt the clutch correctly? I have tried moving the lever and seeing if this dis-engages the gear but...

Was trying to put my layshaft in last night and have come across a problem. Whilst trying to fit it, I am trying to be careful not to damage the rear hub

rear hub nut on. Hope that makes some sense to someone. Any ideas would be great.
