Scooter-forums.com has been established to provide you with a place to meet and talk to others. It is an “open” forum where you are encouraged to, within the limits of this Code of Conduct, express your opinions freely. But scooter-forums.com can be read by any person including children and you are therefore expected to use it’s facilities responsibly.

As part of our commitment to making scooter-forums a great place to meet and interact with others, you agree to abide by our Code of Conduct. Your commitment to this Code in all message board services, shout boxes, galleries and chat areas, is designed to enable you to communicate with the public at large and ensures a positive and enjoyable experience for all our members.

Membership

Membership is open to any person.

Before using scooter-forums.com you are asked to register with ezboard.com. Registration information is used to ensure compliance with this Code of conduct, Ezboard.com's Terms of Use, and so that we can contact you by email. Personal information which you provide at registration is never disclosed to any third party by scooter-forums.com and is subject to Ezboard.com's Privacy Policy.

The shout box is presently available to non-members. Users are asked to abide by this code when using the shout box. Persistent offenders will be asked to leave, and may be barred without notice.

Respect Others

We encourage everyone to treat each other with mutual respect. Do not use any communication to threaten, harass, stalk, or abuse others participating in the forums.

Scooter-forums.com welcomes and values the contributions of all users regardless of their ethnicity, class, religion, gender, ability, age or sexuality.

Scooter-forums.com reserves the right to remove posts that advocate or encourage expressions of violence, bigotry, racism, hatred, or profanity.

Scooter-forums.com may remove postings that are deemed inappropriate, offensive or that violate this Code of Conduct. We may also eject or ban any user who behaves in a manner deemed inappropriate, offensive or who violates this Code of Conduct. By participating in this service, you agree to be bound to this Code of Conduct.

Keep It Legal

Scooter-forums.com does not condone, nor will we allow any illegal activities via the site. You cannot use Scooter-forums to publish, post, distribute, or disseminate defamatory, infringing, obscene, or other unlawful material or information, specifically, but not limited to, child pornography and other illegal pornographic material.

Do not post any materials (including software and other information) that could harm (or is designed to harm) other users' computers or would allow others to inappropriately access software or Web sites.

Children

Scooter-forums is intended for use by adults. It may contain material (including images) which may be unsuitable for children.

Members are reminded that illegal pornographic material is not allowed in any scooter-forums area. Members posting any such material may be banned and posts removed without notice.

Play Nice

Scooter-forums.com is intended to be an enjoyable place to meet. We take the view that any comment that causes offense to any person, posted in any scooter-forums area is, by definition, offensive and should be removed. By using scooter-forums, you agree to immediately remove any such material at the request of the offended person.

Scooter-forums.com does not tolerate disruptive activity online, nor do we allow the posting of destructive features, use of computer programs that contain such features, or access to any content that contains destructive features such as: viruses, worms, Trojan horses, or bots for the use of scrolling, showing multiple screens, and other activities that can be disruptive to online communication.

Falsely impersonating another scooter-forums member or other person with the intent to mislead or cause harm to others is forbidden.

Accept Responsibility

You are responsible and liable for all your activities while participating in any scooter-forums area. Remember, you are responsible for anything you say or post and for protecting your own computer system. We recommend you install a virus protection program on your computer.

Scooter-forums.com reserves the right to remove at any time, without notice, any sample and/or post on any forum.

Users may post Internet website links in the appropriate areas. Please be advised, however, that scooter-forums.com is not responsible for the content on the websites associated with the links you may view.

Some content and links on the Internet may contain adult content and may not be suitable for children. We encourage parents to join their children as they surf and explore the Internet.

You are responsible for any actions you may take based on advice or information you receive online. Use your own good judgment when evaluating information provided through any forum and remember that the information provided could be from people at any age and experience level.

Uphold the Code

In helping to make scooter-forums a great place to meet and chat, you are asked to do your part to uphold this Code of Conduct.

Scooter-forums.com reserves our right to amend or change the Code of Conduct at any time without notice. You agree to periodically review this document to ensure you are doing your part.

Scooter-forums.com is not obligated to send users or hosts a warning before deleting any content.

Protect Your Privacy

We caution you against giving out personally identifiable information (such as credit card numbers, names and addresses, telephone numbers, driver license numbers) to strangers online, which may be used for illegal or harmful purposes.

Scooter-forums.com does not itself store any personal information you provide, but such information may be stored by the scooter-forums host (presently Ezboard.com). Ezboard.com has both Terms of Use and Privacy Policies. Please read them.

Small Ads

scooter-forums.com features a "small adds" forum. We cannot accept responsibility for the adverts placed here by our members, for the accurcacy of any adverts placed or for the quality of any goods or services bought or sold.

Members posting adverts are expected to include an accurate description of the item, a picture if possible and an email address for any responses.

Purchasers do so entirely at their own risk.

Complaints

If you have a complaint about any comment posted by a user, you should firstly notify that user, either by posting a reply or by contacting that user by email.

You may also notify scooter-forums.com by email to complaints@scooter-forums.com.

Scooter-forums.com will endeavour to edit or remove any such material within 24 hours of being notified but this cannot be guaranteed. Remember, users remain solely responsible for comments which they post.
