I was out and about yesterday and all of a sudden i had loads of throttle but the scoot wouldn't move. Basically if i rev the engine in 1st it just it
kinda shakes a little when given a fair bit of throttle, as if it wants to set off but can't. I can go through the gears fine.
Is this the sign of a broken clutch cable? Or Something else? Thanks |

Might be the wodroof-key on the clutch-side...

If the clutch cable had snapped the clutch would be permanently engaged, more likely to be something internal like Svint says

If the clutch is permanently engaged, the scooter will move as long as you has it in gear. There will be no change if you pull the clutch-handle.
To check the woodrof-key, off with the wheel, open the clutch-cover and check if you can turn the crank without the clutch turning...
